When our delight is in the Lord he will give us the one thing our heart desires - Himself. When we've been through the refiner's fire, and our heart's one desire is to be Holy and set apart for God, He will grant unto us that desire. His desire is for us to desire Him. When we do he will not hold back from us the riches that come from a relationship with Him.
"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" Romans 8:32.
Indeed, the God who loves us this much stands ready to shower us with the abundance that comes with knowing Him.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for your loving kindness. Purify my heart and make it clean. Make it to desire only in you. Set me apart for you. Help me to seek after you. Let me find my satisfaction in you.
